Bong Backpackers description

Bong Backpackers is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Hyehwa Subway Station (Line 4) and offers charming private and dormitory-style rooms. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas and complimentary continental breakfast is served daily.

Each room here is equipped with air-conditioning and heating systems. Linen and towels are provided. Bathrooms and toilets are shared for guests in dormitory and twin rooms. Selected rooms are equipped with a full kitchen with a washing machine.

All guests are free to use the communal kitchen and lounge areas.

The female dorm is clean and the space is just nice for...

The female dorm is clean and the space is just nice for everyone. The environment feels homey. When I stayed there, no one else was in the dorm so I had the room alone for around 4 nights, which is great!

Some of the other visitors were quite loud at night.

Would definitely recommend for backpackers

I like the location. It has everything from subway station, bus station (even airport bus), convenience store, restaurants and many shops. Very happening and safe neighbourhood.

We were told that our room was at the next building. I'm okay with that, it's just that I prefer the building I booked in the first place.

24 hour access, super and good receptionist (english speaking) clean common facilities (kitchen), near bus station and convenient 24hours store, a lot eateries nearby (just at the back of McDonald's and PizzaHut), great coffee cafe around the area. Easy check out.

The room conditions was bad and not clean. Crack wooden vynll floor in front of toilet. Dirty bathroom. In picture got refrigerator but in actual there are not. Small room for a family trip. There are no curtain/blindfold for privacy/to block the sunlight. Small towel. The bathroom is quite small, just fit for one person to use. The bathroom quite rundown with dirty shower curtain.

Good location.

Good location. Many small tiny restaurants and bars closeby. 10 min walk to a sunway. Worth the price for a budget guest house. Breakfast was ok for the price. Staff from Malaysia she was willing to help you out upon queries and tried her best to meet your needs.

Poor maintenance everywhere in the house. Poor wifi. No continuous network connection. Owner been informed but no sign of change even after couple of weeks. Bit of surprise by the bathroom door on the 1st floor could open and close by a curtain.

Kinda okay

The staff, Mimi was very helpful and it is located near the airport bus station. We don't have to drag our bag

There was water leaking from the sink and washing machine. We had to stop the water using towels given... the room also very dusty as if it was not sweep off before we arrived. The floor heater is not working, tried increasing the temp but its not working..

Value for money and easy access by subway Line 4 and Airport Limousine Bus. The hostel is between Pizza Hut and Mcdonalds. The food around there is cheap as the place is university street

Cozy place, good for long stay.

It's a really good place to stay for long time. A lot of your personal space to store your stuff around the bed, nice cozy interior and warm floor in the room. No outdoor noise at all. Good location. Short walk to Hyehwa subway station. Plenty of places to have a meal.

Small table to have a breakfast at. Can be busy in the morning. No personal lamp at beds.

Close to the train station and bus stop.

Close to the train station and bus stop. Close to many shops and convenience stores. Staffs are friendly and speak perfect English. Free toasts for breakfast (only strawberry jam provided, could be better if butter was also provided)

- The cement floors make the place a bit chilly. - Only one toilet for the lower floor. - No toiletries provided for the guests. Toiletries can be a bit pricey in Korea, so bring your own.
